Acumed's small Joint Reamer System

Introduction

Acumed´s Small Joint Reamer System provides an innovative solution for creating congruent bone surfaces in the IP and DIP joints of the fingers and toes prior to fusion procedures with Acumed´s plates, Acutrak screws or other methods of fixation.

Traditional methods for preparing joint surfaces for fusion are often time consuming and tedious procedures that do not always ensure that the resulting surfaces are a good match for one another. Acumed has created the Small Joint Reamer System to streamline these procedures via a “cup-and cone” method, thus reducing OR time and producing joint surfaces that are congruent and promote a strong union.
